“Cheaper childcare is a win-win – it would boost the economy and give Australian women enhanced life choices,”
A recent report is calling for reduced Childcare Costs for working families. We welcome this and urge the Government to consider including Nannies in Subsidies. Many families are using Daycare Centres less as they are working reduced hours, or their working hours are outside usual Day Care hours – such as shift workers and families living in rural areas. Its important for these families to be able to access flexible childcare such as before / after school care which can be provided by local nannies/childcarers.
We think families should be able to use Childcare Subsidies to employ Nannies , what do you think?
